Join Me on My Fight Journey

MY STORY

_edited.jpg)
Mixed Martial Artist
I have always had a fighting spirit, never one to shy away from getting down and dirty. From the young age five years old, to fifteen, soccer was my sport, it gave me a foundation of physicality, stamina, competitive spirit and an understanding of how to impose myself physically when it mattered most. There came a time when the impact of competing in soccer was not healthy for my ankles and knees, and after a decade, I made a switch to lower impact sports. Most people would never imagine low impact meant downhill mountain bike racing and Muay Thai Kickboxing... I assure you they were. More than that, they taught more about myself and what could be accomplished than anything I had done to that point in my life.
Our family is competitive. We all expect more of each other and ourselves. In fact, my best performance in anything has always come when I was faced with what seemed like an unattainable goal. I looked at the challenge head on and dedicated myself to overcoming challenges and learning the skills to become the very best at whatever it was I needed to be. My dad once asked me and my brother what we like about racing... my brother said "the start and the finish"... I replied "the journey". It has always been that for me. The journey. Learning the skills, rising to the occasion and overcoming any hurdle that was placed in front of me. It has been my recipe for success time and time again.
Today, I am very clear, I will be the most successful women's MMA fighter in history.
The other thing I learned in sports, school, and working in the film industry, is it takes a team to be great. Coaches, supporters, guides, trainers, specialists and family. The community is one of the biggest parts of this sport and it is continuously growing.
There is a saying "be the future person you dream of, today." In order to apply the time and dedication needed to be the best, you must live, work and train like the champion you want to be.
In order to do that, I need your help. The path is long and the commitment is enormous, and the pursuit of winning requires a single-minded focus. Please help me make this happen.

How can we work together?
Why Sponsorship?

Why Me?
I put my all energy into whatever venture I am pursuing. The difference with this venture, is that it is my full blown passion that I am going to turn into a career. There has never been a goal that I have made that I haven't executed. I will be committed to training. I will speak, promote and develop promotional marketing videos, network, attend events, and most importantly win my fights. More wins is more eyes, and another step closer to the goal of fighting in the biggest of fight promotions.
Why support is needed?
Going pro means living and training like a pro. This is an all-in two year journey from today to the octagon. It doesn’t mean luxury goods and overpriced meals, or frivolous activities and glamorous getaways. It means eating, breathing and training to excel at the sport. This is pushing myself to the limits to be your best. It means recovering, nourishing and caring for my body. It means moving single-mindedly each day to a series of goals that will eventually reach my dream.
There is no Canadian government or sports council money for this. There is no UFC amateur development league funding, and there’s no one simply there to pick up the tab for a young adult woman pursuing her dreams. Working night shifts waiting on tables, picking up gigs in the film and make-up industries currently just barely pay the bills, yet serving interferes with sleep and the occasional 15 hour days on set conflict with training - and resting.

How we can work together
I want to include your brand and/or products as much as I can to give you the proper visibility needed. We can work together to make a mutually beneficial partnership and grow a strong working relationship along the way.
Doing my part to cover my expenses, I will be working part-time whenever possible, holding the occasional fundraiser, expanding my social media presence and professional networks. I am considering developing merchandise in partnership with my home gym, Roundhouse, as well as other marketing ideas.
